NARRATOR - One day a big bear was caught in a trap.

NARRATOR - A man heard the bear calling. He ran to see why the bear was crying for help.

BEAR – Dear friend, please let me out.

MAN – Oh, no! If I let you out you will eat me.

BEAR – No, I will be your friend. I will give you anything you want. Just please get me out.

MAN – All right. I shall let you out.

NARRATOR – The man opened the trap so the bear could get out.

BEAR – Now I will eat you up. I was in the trap a long time and I am very hungry.

MAN – Stop! Let us ask the first three things we see if it is all right for you to eat me.
